Great porcelain crowns — So I had to have crowns out on my two front teeth due to a bicycle accident when I was a kid that chipped and misaligned my two front teeth, one of which eventually became a dead tooth. The process of shaving down the teeth and putting on temporaries went very smoothly with no pain and Dr. Hornstein took plenty of time to answer all my questions and make sure I understood the process, what goes into creating and putting in crowns, and my various options. Once the permanent crowns were ready, I came in for a quick, no pain visit to remove the temps and put in the permanent crowns. The results were near perfect, especially given how misaligned the teeth were. You can’t tell the difference between the crowns and my other teeth. Aesthetically speaking ( and I’m a very tough aesthetic critic), they look and feel amazing.

A wonderful team that truly cares — I’ve had extensive dental needs in the past few years and Dr. Hornstein and his staff have been proactive in my treatment, conservative when needed, and hav always accommodated any special issues and customized my appointments to provide the best possible care. They are very well trained and experienced and are always thinking about the big picture and not a quick fix. They have a nice office and laser technologies and things like headphones and movies to make the time pass easily. They truly invest time in each patient and care. I couldn’t imagine a better team.

Best Dentist in Town — I met Fiona right away and she MADE me feel at home. I enjoyed her company, her promptness, and her ability to make me feel like I mattered. Skylar, was my dental hygienist and she was fantastic. She was very thorough, kind, and a lot of un. I really appreciated having her do my dirty work… Dr. Hornstein was very kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He was like a Tooth Magician, he knew things about my teeth that I hadn’t told him, which were all true. He answered all of my questions and really took the time to get to know me. I felt so comfortable and I am glad I chose Dentistry of Bethesda for my dentist.
